#TKTD34 Family (Framily) Culture & National Anthems Everywhere, and a Surprise Award!

Alums playing Galway Girl Miles, piano & vocals Jerry, fiddle Patrick, guitar & vocals Aine, guitar & vocals

What music reflects your family’s culture?

How does your family use music to celebrate your culture?

Ms. Turgeon's parents met at a community dance, and her father's parents met because her Grammy was singing in a jazz band and Grampy fell in love. Our family ALWAYS had music playing on the radio, and we were always singing and dancing for fun. Our family culture included music from the Big Band era to Prince to Stevie Wonder and U2.

Some families use music for fun, some to reflect their cultural or religious heritage. How does music tie your family together? Get the family together (or your framily--friends who have become family) and make some music!
